We had a wonderful evening at Jo's house. Great discussion on the Good Earth led by Ashley Reese. New appreciation for the author and the main characters of the book.
Our refreshments were from the good earth as well...a most beautiful 4 layer chocolate cake and fresh fruit with a tasty dip.

"One Good Man"

The Spokane Chapter of the BYU Management Society is happy to announce another great family activity coming your way on November 16th, 2009. The BYU Management Society is co-sponsoring, together with LDS Employment Resources Services, the Spokane premier of the LDS-themed movie "One Good Man".

This movie will be shown one night only at the Garland Theatre on Monday, November 16th at 7:00pm. The cost is $5.00 per person or $15 for the whole family.

It happened. And I do believe it went very well. The theme was what's between the covers regarding books. The presenters and their books were: Jana Southwick Stories Behind The Best- Loved Songs of Christmas; Delina Durtschi Evidence Not Seen; Shawna Mallonee The Goose Girl; Lynn Schwendimen Miss Julia Speaks Her Mind; Mary Paventy Left To Tell; Cindie Holloway Love is Eternal; Corla McFarlane Les Miserables;Marsha Daines The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society; Carol Wagstaff duscussing audio books.
The tables were decorated with books and dolls associated with the book. Check out the pictures if I can figure out how to inport them.
